Bitsy Cohen
has been knitting and designing knitwear for close to 40 years. Her knitting patterns and articles on knitting techniques have been published in Yarn Magazine and she is currently working on a collection of original lace shawl designs. Currently teaching for Conversational Threads in Emmaus, PA, Bitsy is available for private workshops at Guild & Group meetings, Festivals and Conventions.
In addition to her work with texture and color in felting she is an avid lace knitter whose work has been featured in The Knitting Guild of America's annual fashion show. Originally from Chicago, Bitsy called central New Jersey home prior to moving to the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania in 2004. A fiber fanatic, Bitsy boasts of owning a yarn collection with more than 6000 skeins. It is from this 'stash' that she finds the inspiration to create her unique patterns and knitted items.
